12 th SS COMMAND GROUP

Post by SABOT »

Have had these needing some love for a long, long time so decided to enter something in 20mm as my ‘sign off’ to completing my 20mm collection (for a while).

Excellent, well done.... thmbs2)
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Really good painted figures. Camouflage smocks are not easy to pain (I usually try to avoid it). But you managed to do it very realistically thmbs2)

Thanks lads ! Appreciate the positive comments. I painted these using Humbtol enamel which, although it has faded from favour I believe is good for cammo uniforms.

Great to see someone still buying Britannia. Dave would have been proud!

That Italian camo came out very well. Any chance of obtaining a recipe, even if it’s all Humbrol?
