Looking suggestions for rules to game small (perhaps up to 50-60 figures per side) actions in the Boer War. I see that these would be more in the guerrilla period, rather than in the earlier set piece battles, such as Imperials trying to track down bitter-enders or attacks on blockhouses.
The standard colonial type rules would not be appropriate and I am leaning towards the like of Bolt Action.

The Men Who Would Be Kings or Fistful of Lead... Big Battles, may well fit the bill?

Thanks for those suggestions. I would have thought TMWBK would be classed as more suited for actions against the like of Zulus/Mahdists than Boers (although I am open to correction!) but the Fistfull of Lead certainly looks interesting: have you tried them yourself?
Re: Skirmish rules for Second Boer War
Have to say I still find TSATF a very playable set of rules... have played many a Boer game with them.
Easy to add your own house rules to the basic system.

Intending to play it with Arc of Fire myself... for what that is worth.....

Nothing to stop you fielding Boers in TMWWBK. Great wee set of rules.
High on life. And thinners.
