Quarter 4 - Dave C
Quarter 4 - Dave C
As seems to be pretty common this year I'll kick off with WWII in 20mm
This still need a coat of matt varnish - otherwise they're done.

Re: Quarter 4 - Dave C - Update 30-12-2023
A last update for this quarter...
First up - the Pz T34 747 (r) above in action
Yes, new kit rule applied and they suffered...
And repeating the pattern for the year after a little 20mm WWII more Napoleonics!
Following Napoleon's abdication in1814 territory that had previously been Prussian (and some) came up Prussian control. One such area was the former Duchy of Berg, home of probably the best and best known Confederation of the Rhine Cavalry units, the Cheveau Leger Lancier de Berg or more commonly Berg Lancers. With a cadre of trainer troopers and good stocks of cloth in the depot the regiment was reformed as a Hussar regiment and continued to use French drills during 1815. The regiment provided 2 squadrons to each of 5 & 6 Brigades in II Corps of the Prussian Army of the North during in the 100 days campaign.
The Wurttemberg Army has been a significant project this year - there is unsurprisingly more; 2nd battalion of the 1st Infantry and a Foot battery which still needs a draft team. The Standard is from GMB Designs.
There is another battalion, more staff and artillery to come.
Some staff figures - L-R Duchy of Warsaw (VIII corps Cavalry - Uminsky), Wurttemberg (1st Brigade - Stockmayer), and Prussian (Probably commanding 4th Reserve Infantry Regt), and an ADC
And finally A Prussian Caisson. The vehicle is from Blue Moon Manufacturing the team AB.

Re: Quarter 4 - Dave C
A final 2023 score for Napoleonic figures is 349 figures
- 240 infantry
- 40 Cavalry
- 52 guns, gunners & teams including 10 train
- 17 staff figures.
By far the largest beneficiary has been the Wurttemberg Army followed by the Imperial Guard.
On the bench are Duchy of Warsaw Cuirassier (without the cuirass) and Prussian Reservist Regiment. I am hoping to finish the Wurttemberg Force next year (there is a plan ), add to the French and Prussian armies and maybe add some Russians or Austrians or even Italians

A great haul for the year!
Now I just need to resist the urge to add beute T34's to my list...

I realized that I hadn’t commented on your fabulous figures. Thank you for taking the time to share them here, particularly the glorious Napoleonic figures.
349 is an impressive tally for the year. I would be pretty chuffed with that.

Re: Quarter 4 - Dave C
Thanks all,
I was pleased with the outputs.
So far 2024 is shaping up nicely on the Napoleonic figures front, but not touched any 20mm so far, despite having several items that only require a little more time.
Hopefully I'll get something posted fairly soon.
