Painting 3mm Glass/Windows

Hey guys. Newbie to the forums here, but nice to see so many familiar faces from other forums.

I'm going through a period of Micro Scale Madness at the moment, and am doing some 3mm O8 Vietnam Choppers and looking for a good color recipe for painting the glass/windows in a scale so small.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Just painted mine black at this scale - looked okay - hard to see though



For my jest I seems to have gone with a silver for the canopies - don't know why but it looked ok on these tiny models
