Re: My Brits
Those are looking very good.
Didn't take you long to get the 17pdr done, considering I only gave it to you Saturday morning.
We will have to find a game to use them in.

Re: My Brits
Although not really a part of 9 Brigade I'm also doing a composite Armoured Regiment with a squadron each of Shermans, Cromwells and Churchills along with a mixed RHQ. The Cromwells will be C Sqn, 2nd Northamptionshire Yeomanry who were done before the start of the forum so don't count.
B Sqn, 144 RAC. Number 67, closest to the camera, is the model that I showed WIP pic of elsewhere.

Re: My Brits
I forgot to post the Brigade HQ. Instead f the Humber Scout Car in the RF Orbat I used a Standard Tilly from the new Airfix RAF set . This was for two reasons, first there isn't a plastic Humber and second because an Infantry Brigade didn't actually have any.

Great work Alan
Re: My Brits
Very nice...... I must get a Tilly....!
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Re: My Brits
The Brigade's MG Company is now finished.
First the Loyd Carrier and 4.2" Mortar, the trailer is the new Airfix Jeep Trailer and the mortar scratched.
The Company's Wasp Flamethrower, I think that this is the Canadian version, I made it many years ago using the ancient Airfix Mag article.
Finally the Vickers and its Carrier, there are three of these.

Re: My Brits
The Morris 15 cwt for 1 KOSB, it started life as the Airfix Quad and is done following a 1964 Airfix Mag. The canopy is from the matchbox Morris.

Re: My Brits
I have so many spare Almark grenade throwers that I've tried son conversion work. The mortar team and PIAT man are all grenade thrower torsos on Airfix RAF Refueling set legs with arms from various other figures. The PIAT is yet another conversion of the PSC Panzerschreck. The Bren gunners ia an Almark mine detector with a Matchbox Bren and Almark head swap. The two OP teams are a mix of Airfix 25 pounder crew with Alamark mine detector heads and officers made from the RAF legs and Matchbox commander torsos, the Honey and Humbar AC kits being the donors.

Re: My Brits
The Recce Troop for my Armoured Regiment, Matchbox Stuarts.
First two from 144 RAC for before they started taking turrets off. From photographs of the regiment is appears that the Stuarts used their wading towers as stowage racks.
A turretless Stuart from 3 County of London Yeomanry.
