Bunkers and Pillboxes.
Bunkers and Pillboxes.
Okay, was thinking of doing all sorts for the Build, until I came across a box full of half finished, half built, half painted, unbased bits and bobs for bunkers etc.
So, I've built, painted, and based them so they fit in sort of with such pieces as the Russian twin A/T position I posted a while back...

Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

There’s an old (very!) Fujimi bunker, but the rest I can't remember. At least one is a piece scratchbuilt from foamcore, the rest are resin....

One from IronClad - the first one.
The covered in net/ivy is the Fujimi one - from the gas-mask infantry, the others, seem to be from Britannia, and naturally the scracthbuild one.
Very nice and well done.

Cheers Pete! I honestly can’t remember, maybe Queens Hussar or Brittania?

Cheers! To be honest our days of running up and down beaches are well over. Might sneak a few of them into a Westwall scenario....

Re: Bunkers and Pillboxes.
You can't beat a good bunker (flamethrowers, petards etc. notwithstanding! ), and you've got a whole bunch of great ones there.
Especially like photos 2 and 4. Have a very insitu ('crusty' even) look to them.
