Re: Stipping

It's also great for cleaning jewellery, any electrical contacts like model railway track, uncoated glass (spectacle lenses, car windscreens, mirrors, windows) and it's a great degreasant for things like metal figures - never tried it on plastics. As a word of caution, the fumes have anaesthetic prop...

15mm WW2

I picked up a variety of bargain Battlefront 15mm vehicles, plus a few other manufacturers, over the last couple of months and been gradually working on them, so no real target in mind, other than to reduce the number of blister packs in the stash. First up a Marder I, suitable for North Africa and ...

Re: Battlegroup Market Garden weekend

Correct They don't like multi-player as they get unmanageable. The only knock on effect is if your side loses on an adjoining table you have to immediately take a chit! We have played larger multi-player games with Battlegroup. For a full days play, about the largest force an average player can cop...

Re: Arnhem Big Game 2018 the last day

Excellent game, lovely tables and great AAR. Shame about the last hour being lost, but that's what Arnhem was all about, delays here, delays there, until it's all too late. Very historical!

Gripping stuff. Great looking game and lovely little details on the individual units adds so much.

Re: US Parass, Market Garden.

I've used Vallejo US Dark green Model colour VAL893 as the basic colour, lightened or darkened to suit. I've tended to use this colour for trousers and jackets, but mix it up a little with green grey for some jackets.

Re: Late WW2 Luftwaffe ground attack assets

Thanks all. Well, the FW 190 finally made it onto the table last week. The first sortie resulted in a wide dispersal of 4 small bombs, to no effect - the curse of a newly painted unit strikes again. The second sortie dropped another 4 small bombs with a more useful spread, that did away with a jeep ...

Looks good. The Wacht am Rhein mini-campaign is one I want to try soon.
