Re: Hybrid Shermans just about done.

How did you find the scale of the 1/76 decals on the 1/100 model. Interested as I have a whole load of PSC Shermans for 8th Armoured Brigade coming to the top of the paint pile and need a solution and these look fab

Sherman NWE SCC Numbers

My Shermans have come to the top of the painting pile. I am trying out MiG paints for a change. Can't quite get my head around what I need for vehicles in NWE. Do you have some sort of computer-assisted drawing software to create the plans for the printer?
I am using Tinkercad which is a Web based tool. Easy to use and didn't need any installation. Reasonably intuitive interface and online support seems good.

3D Printing

Thought I would start a thread all of its own for 3D Print projects. Next up from me are the extended range fuel tanks for the BF M113. Early v1 drafts checking size and fit. v2 will have the bottom angles revised and change the size of the rear plate as my current ones are too square https://4.bp.b...

Re: 15mm West Germans

NATO Green base coat added. So new light cluster, radio mounts and relocated the tow rope from the hull to the door. Need to find out how long the antenna should be. These are scaled at 2m https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sDlknzm-RtY/WuM4BV7OCZI/AAAAAAAAMM4/YasjAYOkWC8AHzavZkjrfM4XGzogpsY8ACKgBGAs/s1600/I...

Re: 15mm West Germans

Rear lights and radios printed and testing for fit. Need to find a better way of putting supports on the 3D Printer as they are a right royal pain to clean up after printing
