Dave, very nice. I'm trying to convince Colin that they didn't really have a .30cal MMG in every company, what they actually had was the .30cal LMG, the one with the butt and bipod. It will make US Paras slightly less like the Kingtigers of Infanry.

Don, as it happens I extracted all the Panther bits that I could find from my scrap boxes hoping to ba able to make up the third for Lehr.

Cheap ARV

I bought this old Airfix Sherman on Ebay last week for £5 and it seemed a good basis for an ARV to go with my ever growing British armour. Everything on it came from the scrap box.

Here is a nice piece of research into a specific tank, 333, with lots of pics of others as well. I personally think that the turret numbers might be light blue rather than white, just compare the white of the crosses with the white of the numbers on 134 for example. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/A...

For those not in possession of the book the important part is " Despite anti-tank fire from 6 pdr and 17 pdrs and artillery support from 3rd Infantry Division and HMS Arethusa ...". If you read that to mean the at guns belonged to 3 Div you could just as easily read it to mean that they belonged to ...

Good find Barry, as you say they are probably battery chargers and so not something that would normally appear on the wargames table.
